Beautiful portrait of a young woman immortalized on a cloudy sky background by HEINRICH FRIEDRICH FUGER (1751-1818) considered one of the most important Austrian painters.
The woman is represented half-length, wearing a light blue dress with pointed décolleté and a shawl on her left shoulder.
A typical work of Füger in which he employs a clearly visible projection, a technical characteristic of his for the background called the "water drop technique".
